Stops: Huancavelica – Lake of Pultocc – Santa Ana – Lake of Choclococha
Duración: Full Day
Chonta 4855 msnm:
We drive on the highest Peruvian road with the mountains offering us a spectacular landscape! On the way, we observe South American camelids like: llamas, alpacas and vicuñas, as well as Andean flamingos, viscachas and seagulls.
Laguna (lake) of Pultocc:
This wild lake also known as the “Eye of the Sea”. The pure colours highlight and seduce even the most demanding photographers. We enjoy the tranquillity of the area by means of a boat promenade to appreciate a unique panorama.
Community of Santa Ana:
While we will share with the community and visit their picturesque stone village, the same generous community will cook us up some tasty trout from the Lake of Pultocc and displays all their lovely artisan crafts. We will taste it in one of the old houses of the village.
The craftsmen of the community will take the opportunity to present us their creations.
Lake of Choclococha:
The 16,190 km2 of water provide an inexhaustible source of water for the agriculture in the Ica valleys and is ideal for fishing culture. It is also an exceptional place to observe numerous wild birds. The return to Huancavelica is the opportunity to admire the authentic Andean landscape with the golden light of the sunset.
